Early Notes

Some of these ideas (like Babe-A-Licious) I kept; a lot were jettisoned, and good riddance. As an author you tend to go through a lot of ideas; at first you love them dearly and hold them tight, but when you wake up the next morning they don't look so fresh.

Notable features here: an alarming dalliance with calling the book, "Novel: a novel", a truly nauseating idea for the book's conclusion, and I seem to have invented a word called "obstentiously."
